Chiril Gaburici

Chiril Gaburici (born November 23, 1976 in Logăneşti) is a Moldovan businessman and politician . From February 18 to June 12, 2015 he was head of government of the Republic of Moldova.

He was the first manager of the Moldovan cellular operator Moldcell . In 2012 he moved to the Azerbaijani mobile operator Azercell .

After the parliamentary elections in 2014 , he was the candidate of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova for the office of Prime Minister. President Nicolae Timofti instructed him on February 14, 2015 to form a government. On February 18, 2015, the members of the parliament confirmed his cabinet and elected him Prime Minister of Moldova. He was sworn in on the same day.

On June 12, 2015, Gaburici, who is accused of falsifying his high school diploma, resigned as Prime Minister. Investigations by the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Moldova, which had been ongoing since April, had shown that Gaburici's certificate had been forged both the signature of the then director and the stamp of the "Ștefan cel Mare" grammar school. In addition, teachers at the high school could not remember Gaburici.
