Khrestiwka ( Ukrainian Хрестівка ; Russian Крестовка Krestowka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kherson with 1500 inhabitants (2015).
The village, first mentioned in 1909, is located in the steppe zone in the south of Kherson Oblast at an altitude of 30 m on the road between the urban-type settlement Askanija-Nowa, 17 km to the east, and the district center of Tschaplynka, 16 km to the west . The Kherson Oblast Center is located about 120 km northwest of Khrestivka.
Chrestiwka is the administrative center of the same, rural community ( Хрестівська спроможна територіальна громада Chrestiwska spromoschna terytorialna hromada ) in the center of Rayon Chaplynka to the still villages Dolynske ( Долинське , ⊙ ) with about 890 inhabitants, Majatschynka ( Маячинка , ⊙ ) with about 70 population, Nadeschdiwka ( Надеждівка , ⊙ ) with about 1280 inhabitants, Nataliwka ( Наталівка , ⊙ ) with 100 residents, Nowonataliwka ( Новонаталівка , ⊙ ) with about 1150 inhabitants, Rohatschynka ( Рогачинка , ⊙ ) with about 10 population, Schewtschenka ( Шевченка , ⊙ ) with about 810 inhabitants and Switle ( Світле , ⊙ ) with about 60 inhabitants.
