Christopher James McAlister (* 14. June 1977 in Pasadena , California ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of the cornerbacks . He played for the Baltimore Ravens and the New Orleans Saints in the National Football League (NFL).

McAlister played college football for the University of Arizona . He was selected in 1999 in the first round of the NFL Draft in tenth place by the Baltimore Ravens and played there until 2008. With these he was able to win the Super Bowl XXXV against the New York Giants 34: 7 in his second year . In the game, McAlister was also able to catch an important interception at the end of the first half, causing the Giants to end the first half without winning a point. In the Monday Night Football game on September 30, 2002 against the Denver Broncos , he also set the record for the longest return touchdown after a failed field goal with 107 yards . That record was later increased by one yard to 108 by Nathan Vasher and Devin Hester and finally increased to 109 yards by Antonio Cromartie in 2007 . For the 2009 season he was given to the New Orleans Saints . There he was released on December 8th, two months before the Saints won Super Bowl XLIV .
