Christa Dorothea Schäfer (* 1962 in Rotenburg ) is a German lecturer, mediator and author in Berlin.

Live and act

Schäfer first completed her teaching degree with the subjects music and mathematics and taught for a few years in a Berlin high school. At the same time, she completed a mediation training and founded the MediationsZentrum Berlin e. V. as a non-profit association that is dedicated to district and community mediation in Berlin . In 2011, Schäfer also founded Comedu , a GmbH for training and further education in the field of special educational techniques.

In 2006 she did her doctorate with Rainer Winkel at the University of the Arts in Berlin on the subject of teaching disorders - diagnostic and pedagogical-therapeutic information on behavior-problem students .

Schäfer is a trained social manager . Since 2001 she has been working as a freelancer in the field of tension between education and mediation. As a mediator and mediation trainer, she works in conflict prevention, intervention and research. As a teacher she works at Buddy e. V. program throughout Germany and with different target groups and specialists as well as in thinking time training. As a freelance supervisor, systemic consultant , trainer, speaker and coach, Christa Schäfer works with individuals, teams and groups, for different institutions and in different settings . She gave lectures and a. in Munich, Berlin and Leipzig.
