Christian Adolph Klotz
Christian Adolph Klotz (born November 13, 1738 in Bischofswerda , † December 31, 1771 in Halle (Saale) ) was a German philologist .
Klotz was the son of a superintendent . He attended the universities of Leipzig and Jena . In 1762 he was appointed professor at Göttingen and was appointed full professor there in 1763. In 1765, Klotz became a professor of philosophy and eloquence at the University of Halle .
