Christian Becker (director)
Christian Becker (born January 4, 1971 in Düsseldorf ) is a German film editor and director .
Live and act
From 1991 to 1994 Becker worked as a photo assistant in Düsseldorf and Paris. From 1994 to 1999 he studied at the Art Academy for Media Cologne in the field of film / television. In 1996 he studied for half a year in Cuba at the International University for Film and Television . His short films were shown at national and international festivals. For Viene del cielo , a short film that he shot in Cuba, he received first prize at the Dresden Film Festival in 1997 .
In 2002 he founded field recordings together with Oliver Schwabe . The directors worked together under this label in the feature film sector as a directing and writing duo.
In 2005, her debut feature film Egoshooter, produced by Wim Wenders , was released in cinemas. Her second feature film, Tender Parasites , was released in 2009 and premiered at the 2009 Venice International Film Festival .
2007 founded Becker along with Oliver Schwabe film production field recordings filmmaking produced predominantly documentaries.
Becker has also been working regularly as a film editor since 2005.
