Christian Eisert

Christian Eisert (* 1976 in Berlin ) is a German author, satirist and comedy coach.

Career

Eisert was born and raised in East Berlin . He has been working as a comedy and gag writer for numerous TV formats since 2004: Harald Schmidt , Oliver Pocher , Kaya YanarWhat are you watching ?”, “ Friday Night News ” and others. a. with Henry Gründler , Ruth Moschner , Ingo Appelt , "The Comedy Whisperer" with Mike Krüger , " The Niels Ruf Show ", " Switch Reloaded ", "Sesame Street", "Löwenzahn" and "Löwenzähnchen". For " Shopping Queen " he wrote the off-lyrics for more than a hundred episodes. He also developed series and film concepts, writes stage programs and advises production companies and comedians as a comedy consultant.

As a comedy coach, Eisert teaches the craft of humorous writing at various institutes. (including Berlin School of Journalism , Master School Screenplay ).

As an author, Eisert first published several satirical volumes before turning to narrative non-fiction. Here he devoted himself to various topics (e.g. Porsche, North Korea, Switzerland, men) pointedly and with an unusual, autobiographical approach. Critics appreciate the mixture of entertainment and information in his texts.

His humorous travelogue "Kim and Struppi - Holidays in North Korea" was in the top ten of the SPIEGEL bestseller list for over a year in 2014/15, including number 2 for several months.
