Christian Futscher

Christian Futscher (born April 19, 1960 in Feldkirch / Vorarlberg ) is an Austrian writer .

Life

Christian Futscher studied German and Romance languages at the University of Salzburg . He has been based in Vienna since 1987 , where, in addition to various other activities, he was temporarily tenant of a wine tavern in Josefstadt . In 1998 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt .

Christian Futscher is the author of prose texts , poetry and radio plays . His works tend mainly towards the satirical and grotesque .

Christian Futscher has been a member of the Graz Authors' Assembly since 1994 .
