Christian Gollob (born October 8, 1968 in Eibiswald in Styria ) is an Austrian sculptor and artist .

Life

After Christian Gollob had attended elementary school and secondary school in Eibiswald , he received technical and manual training at the HTL Graz .

As an artist he is self-taught . In 1989 he began his artistic activity. His favorite materials are stone, water, bronze and stainless steel. His designs are very stringent, which he implements in large-scale projects that often go to the limit of processing compact forms. Through the development of the artist before the turn of the millennium and afterwards, steel and bronze were increasingly added.

From 1990 to 2010 Christian Gollob had his gallery on Schlossbergplatz, at the corner of Reinerhof , in Graz, where one of his works - a fountain made of rose quartz entitled Father, Mother, Child - was on public display on the square.

In 2010 the gallery moved from Graz to the studio house in Hitzendorf.
