On February 2, 2003, Nagiller managed a flight to 220 meters on the Kulm ski jump in Bad Mitterndorf / Tauplitz (Austria). At first he managed to get the jump in the run, unfortunately his right ski binding came loose and he fell before the so-called fall limit. He could have improved the hill record at that time, which Sven Hannawald had jumped only three days earlier, by a full six meters, but only jumps that were made are counted. After the good performances in Hakuba and on the Kulm at the beginning of 2003, he was nominated for the 2003 World Championships in Predazzo , Italy , where he finished 30th (normal hill) and 31st (large hill).
