Christian Wolski

Christian Wolski (born June 17, 1973 in Bonn ) is a former German soccer player . The defensive player played six league games for 1. FC Köln in the Bundesliga in the 1995/96 season .

career

Growing up in the Bonn district of Duisdorf , Wolski began playing football at the age of six in the youth department of 1. FC Hardtberg and then played at Bodo Illgner's former club up to and including the first senior year, 1992/93 . From June 1992 to December 1993 he then played at SV Buschdorf 02 before joining the amateur team of 1. FC Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia in January 1994. The defender and midfielder belonged in the 1995/96 season to the extended professional squad of 1. FC Cologne when he received his amateur status . At the beginning of the round, the FC coached by Morten Olsen had strengthened themselves with newcomers such as Dietmar Beiersdorfer , Martin Braun , Dorinel Munteanu , Sunday Oliseh , Stefan Kohn and Holger Gaißmayer and also their own amateurs Thomas Cichon , Janosch Dziwior and Michael Rösele in the professional squad recorded. Olsen was released on August 27, 1995 and the previous amateur trainer Stephan Engels took over as his successor on August 28, 1995. Engels used Wolski six times in the Bundesliga. He made his debut on September 1 in a 0-1 away defeat at Karlsruher SC; he came on in the 82nd minute for Oliseh. His sixth and last Bundesliga appearance was on November 11, 1995, in a 2-2 home draw against VfB Stuttgart. The strong defender was substituted on for Rico Steinmann in the 80th minute . After Engels was dismissed in March 1996, Wolski did not come to any further use under his successor Peter Neururer and left the club at the end of the 1996 season.

He joined the Bonner SC in the Oberliga Nordrhein for the 1996/97 season and was able to celebrate the championship with the BSC . Wolski ended his footballing career with SCB Preußen Köln in the summer of 2000 . Then he made a training for physiotherapists and later a training for manual therapists . Today he works in his own practice for physiotherapy in Bonn.

Wolski is single and has a daughter.
