Christin Henkel (born October 11, 1984 in Meiningen ) is a German composer , author , songwriter and cabaret artist.

biography

Christin Henkel grew up in Untermaßfeld near Meiningen. She was a member of the youth choir of the Max Reger Music School in Meiningen and attended the Belvedere Castle Music High School in Weimar . She then studied film composition with Enjott Schneider and Gerd Baumann at the University of Music and Theater in Munich and wrote songs during this time, which she initially performed in live music clubs and with success in various song slams. Since 2014 appearances in various television programs such as B. NightWash , PufPaffs Happy Hour , Ladies Night , Nuhr from 18, NDR Comedy Contest, West ART , Fat Chicken Club, Satire Deluxe, Schwabing clubhouse . She mostly played solo with her own accompaniment on the piano or together with her cellist Juri Kannheiser. In 2019 she appeared at Lieder auf Banz and gave guest performances at the Deutsches Theater in Munich .

Christin Henkel has two sons and lives in Munich.
