Christine Gogolin (born May 10, 1971 in Erfurt ) is a German opera singer , lyricist , poet , cabaret artist , presenter and stage artist.

Life

Christine Gogolin gained stage experience from an early age. From 1977 to 1987 she attended the ballet class of the district music school in Erfurt, which was repeatedly awarded the title “excellent”. During her training as a nurse, she was also a member of the Girls Chamber Choir of the Erfurt District Music School, which was awarded the City of Erfurt Culture Prize . She took individual singing lessons from Christina Göthel and, because of her talent, received a sponsorship contract from the Liszt School of Music Weimar , where she studied from 1991–1997. During her studies she already appeared on radio and on MDR television together with Jörg Hindemith . She completed her studies in 1997 with a diploma in opera singing / solo and began her career as a freelance opera singer.

At the beginning of her career she worked intensively with the Chamber Orchestra Wernigerode under the direction of Christian Fitzner . During this time she mainly appeared in operas, operettas and recitals. She also worked with orchestras such as the Vogtland Philharmonie Greiz Reichenbach , the Janoschka Ensemble and the Army Music Corps of the Bundeswehr, which she accompanied in the Beethoven Hall. Since 2002 she has also worked closely with the band The Queen Kings (formerly Mayqueen ), including at the Queen Convention Whitestock.

In 2002 she got to know the fashion designer Alfredo Pauly , in whose elaborate costume shows she was featured in several prominent positions. With his costumes she was the focus of the show Roncalli meets Classic in the Musical Theater Bremen . In 2004 she sang for the first time on the cruise ship Germany ; Further engagements on ships of the shipping company Peter Deilmann followed.

In 2004 she met her life and stage partner Markus Schimpp . Together the couple wrote numerous cabaret and stage songs (Christine Gogolin (text / music) Markus Schimpp (music)). As a duo PinkMoll , they performed with Witzigmann / Roncalli (Hamburg), Panem et Circenses (Essen) and the Apollovarieté (Düsseldorf) , among others . The duo has won several renowned cabaret awards. In 2011, the couple separated privately.

For a performance at the Teatro la Fenice in Venice , Christine Gogolin had the costume designer Silvia Boucké (Cologne) build the “Angelo d'oro” costume for her in 2008 ; For Roncalli's Christmas Circus in the Lanxess Arena , a second large costume, the "Snow Queen", was created in the same year. With the “Angelo d'oro” costume, she advanced to the position of ambassador for the city of Vienna and performed in this capacity in Belgrade , Warsaw , Baku and Rio de Janeiro .

She also works closely with the church musician and composer Marcus Dahm ; so she worked u. a. also at the Troisdorf Lucia Concerts conducted by Dahm, the largest Advent concerts of this kind in North Rhine-Westphalia, as a golden angel and snow queen, and also contributed texts here.

Since 2011 she has been writing the column under the pseudonym “Beetha Bonnus” for TOP-Magazin Bonn. Today Christine Gogolin lives with her partner and three daughters near Bonn.
