Christoph Brueske

Christoph Brüske (born September 17, 1965 in Troisdorf , Sieg) is a German cabaret artist , presenter and author.

Life

Brüske grew up in Niederkassel-Rheidt. He graduated from high school in 1984 at the Kopernikus Gymnasium in Niederkassel. Brüske lived with his family in downtown Cologne for a few years. In 2001 they moved back to their homeland in Niederkassel , today he lives there with his daughter.

career

As a teenager, Brüske devoted himself to music, primarily as a trumpeter and later increasingly as a singer in various pop and jazz groups. (Mind Apartment, stainless). In 1985 he began acting in independent theater projects in Cologne and Bonn , including the Theater Brille and the Studiobühne Cologne .

Parallel to his studies in theater, film and television studies in Cologne (1984–1989), he completed speech training at Deutsche Welle in Cologne in 1988 and from 1987 to 1991 classical singing studies at Zarmas, Bonn Opera Studio. Engagements as an opera singer and art song interpreter followed. In the same phase of life, Brüske worked as a moderator, consultant, concept developer, copywriter and author for musicals and presentations.

Brüske was a member of the Springmaus improvisation theater ensemble in Bonn for four years .

On September 30, 1997, Brüske celebrated the premiere of his first solo program “Kassensturz” in Cologne's Comedia Colonia .

As a cabaret artist, Brüske focuses on the latest in the fields of finance, economy, energy, mobility, globalization, lifestyle and visions of the future. His solo programs are a mixture of political cabaret and musical interludes. He has also moderated around 2500 galas and company events so far.

Brueske stage programs

In addition to the Brushless Laach Ovend in Rheidt, which has been held every quarter since 2004, he initiated the annual Niederkassel Cabaret Prize in 2014. In this show, six artists fight for the VR-Bank Rhein-Sieg Laachovend-Cup.

A selection: rooms available , midnight peaks and local time (WDR); Cabaret from Franconia , Ottis Schlachthof (BR), RTL Saturday Night , Every Sunday (ARD), Rogler's mad cabaret (SR), Friends from the Mäulesmühle (SWR). .
