Christoph Feurstein
Christoph Feurstein (born May 8, 1972 in Schruns im Montafon , Vorarlberg ) is an Austrian journalist and television presenter .
Life
After graduating from high school in 1990, Christoph Feurstein studied German and theater studies at the University of Vienna until 1995 . He also worked as an assistant director for the independent theater group WUT . He also worked on X-Large , an ORF youth magazine . He then designed other documentaries for the ORF series emotion , City-Guide and nitebox . He also worked as a director for the latter .
From 1997 to 2000 Feurstein worked as an editor and designer for Thema - a socio-political magazine of the ORF. From February 2001 he represented Barbara van Melle in the moderation of this program. From October 2002 to December 2004 he presented with Miriam Hie 25 - Das Magazin, alternating weekly . Since January 1st, 2005 he has been reporting and designing again at Thema . In September 2005, Christoph Feurstein moderated the Mystery series .
After he had already reported to Thema in 1998 about the kidnapping of ten-year-old Natascha Kampusch and had been in constant contact with her family during the search for the missing person, Feurstein was able to have the second interview with Natascha Kampusch on September 5, 2006 after her escape to lead. Even in the first few months after the escape, Feurstein had numerous opportunities to interview Kampusch and to build trust in her.
