The CNN Journalist Award Germany / Austria / Switzerland (mostly short CNN Journalist Award , dt. CNN Journalist Award ) is a journalism prize , the 2005 to 2015 by CNN International as a junior prize for foreign journalism was awarded. History and regulations

The US television channel CNN announced the CNN African Journalist Award in 1995 . Today the CNN Journalist Award is presented in Africa , South Korea , India , Latin America and, until 2015, in German-speaking Europe.

Outstanding reports with an international focus were awarded in the following categories:
