Miriam Hie (born June 14, 1978 ) is an Austrian presenter and actress .

Life

Her parents come from Indonesia , her father came to Graz in the 1960s to study medicine. Miriam Hie grew up in Christkindl , Upper Austria and, after graduating from high school, first studied Sinology and later acting at the Vienna Film School. She completed her training in 2001 with an equal acting examination.

She then worked as a trainee at ORF in the family and youth editorial team, including working for the magazine Schöner Leben and Streetlive . From October 2002 to the end of 2004 she presented the ORF pre-evening program 25 - Das Magazin, alternating with Christoph Feurstein from Monday to Friday . Afterwards she worked in the children's program. In November 2003 she released a single called Run .

In 2008 she moderated the magazine Infolympia for ZDFinfo , later switching to ServusTV , where she reported on the film starts of the week in Lichtspiele - Das Filmmagazin - and Na Servus - Das Wetter on ServusTV . In addition, she acts together with Rudolf John as a moderator for the presentation of the Romy Academy Awards . At the Romy Awards 2013 she was nominated in the category Most Popular Presenter - Entertainment as presenter of the Servus TV film magazine Lichtspiele . She moderates the “Morning Show” on Radio Superfly .

With her solo cabaret program Who is Hie , she celebrates its premiere in September 2019 in the Viennese backdrop . In July 2020 she stood in front of the camera for the episode Conspiracy of the Austrian Crime Scene , directed by Claudia Jüptner-Jonstorff .
