Christopher Bailey (born September 3, 1992 in Bamberg , baptismal name: Christopher Jakob Bailey ) is a German actor .

Life

Bailey was born the son of a German and an American in Bamberg, where he grew up and still lives. He comes from an old Franconian family of gardeners who are directly related to the Humsera . On his grandfather's side, he is also of Balkan German descent.

He was already interested in acting as a schoolboy. Bailey attended theater at his school and the young theater club at the ETA Hoffmann Theater . There he also completed two internships as assistant director in 2012. Through the theater he became part of the ensemble of the Calderón Festival in 2011. At the same time, he graduated from secondary school and passed the entrance exam to drama school .

From 2012 to 2015 he completed his acting training at the New Acting School in Nuremberg . While still studying acting, in 2015 he played the role of Smee and a "lost boy" in Peter Pan , the summer production of the children's and youth theater Chapeau Claque , as well as in small supporting roles. In addition, from 2015 to 2016 he could be seen in Mord in Aspik , the last theater production before the death of artistic director Gerd Fischer , at the Mühlentheater Möhrendorf .

In 2016 Bailey returned for another production for the Chapeau Claque Theater in the lead role Marko in the play STAR by Salah Naoura and gave guest performances. He then worked at the Munich Theater for Children in the 2016/2017 season , where he also took part in the special productions as an actor on the occasion of the 50th anniversary. In 2019 he was on tour with the Witten Children's and Youth Theater .

Christopher Bailey is also dedicated to the field of film and has worked there in various productions, including a. from film schools.

During the corona pandemic , he takes part in various art projects that become creative in videos.
