Career

The 1.85 m tall Christopher Bissel began his handball career at the age of 10 with HC Erlangen. He went through all youth teams of the Franconian handball club and has been part of the professional squad of HC Erlangen since the 2015/16 season. In addition to handball, Christopher Bissel studies law at the Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen. With HC Erlangen he reached 9th place in the handball Bundesliga in the 2016/17 season . In a total of 52 Bundesliga games, he scored 63 goals with a throw rate of 70.27%.
