Petter Øverby (born March 26, 1992 in Kongsvinger ) is a Norwegian handball player .

Career

With the Norwegian national handball team Øverby was runner-up in 2017. In the same year, the circle runner , who had previously played for the Norwegian club Elverum Håndball , with whom he won the Norwegian championship six times, came to the Danish club KIF Kolding København . In 2018 HC Erlangen signed Øverby. He extended his contract with the Franconian first division club until 2022.

At the handball world championship 2019 Petter Øverby was part of the squad of Norwegians, who lost to Denmark in the final and became vice world champions.
