Nikolai Link (born April 2, 1990 in Friedberg ) is a handball player who plays for HC Erlangen in Germany .

Career

He started his career in the D-Jugend of TSV Friedberg. He later played with the club in the Regionalliga Süd. In the summer of 2010, Link moved to the Bundesliga club TBV Lemgo . There he also played in the second team.

In spring 2010 Link was appointed to the German junior national team. In January 2012, Link moved to the 2nd handball Bundesliga for HC Erlangen, with whom he was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga in 2014 . His brother Jonas Link also played for HC Erlangen .

Link made his international debut on April 2, 2016 in Cologne against Denmark .
