Christopher Reinhold von Nolcken ( Russian : Христофор Романович (Христофор Рейнгольд) фон Нолькен * 9. August 1728 , † 4. May 1802 in Gavrilovsky , buried in Narva ), Mr. on Kangern , was a Russian major general , governor of Pskov and member of the Russian State Council.

career

His military career began in 1751 in the Semyonovskoye bodyguard regiment, in 1762 he was promoted to lieutenant , in 1765 he was promoted to captain-lieutenant and in 1769 to captain . From 1775 he was brigadier and city commander of Dorpat . From August 9, 1777 he was governor of the Pskov governorate and was replaced on September 26, 1778 because of incompetence from this post. From 1780 he was a member of the Russian State Council and resigned in 1799. From 1789 to 1795 he was district nobility marshal of Gdow in the governorate of Saint Petersburg . Until his death in 1812 he was at his country estate in Gavrilovsky.

Christopher Reinhold came from the Swedish-Baltic noble family Nolcken . His father was the öselsche Landmarschall and District Administrator Reinhold Gustav von Nolcken († 1762), who was married to Anna Christina von Redkenhof in his first marriage. Christopher married Juliane Elisabeth von Stjernhjelm in 1770, they had the following descendants:

  • Katharina Anna von Nolcken (1771–1842), married to Adrian Heinrich von Hagemeister, Herr auf Paunkull (1773–1817)
  • Reinhold Diedrich von Nolcken (1772–1842), married to Anna Christina Müller (* 1779)
  • Charlotte Elisabeth von Nolcken († 1853), Gotthard Emanuel von Aderkas (1773–1861), Russian consul general in Lübeck
