Extraction and presentation

Chromium (II) fluoride can be obtained by reacting chromium with fluorine salts of more noble metals (e.g. cadmium (II) fluoride , tin (II) fluoride or bismuth (III) fluoride ), the reaction being above the Melting temperature of the salts is carried out.
