The Cikánský potok , formerly Luční potok or Luzný potok (German Aubach , also Zigeunerbach ) is a left tributary of the Blanice in the Czech Republic .

The Cikánský potok rises at the northern foot of the Boubín ( Kubany , 1362 m). Its upper course leads east of the Kupa (1044 m) past the forester's lodge Veselka to the northeast. The villages Veselka, U Obory, U Petra, Brdo and Včelná pod Boubínem are located above its valley, which runs through forests. To the south of Buk , along the Cikánský potok, the farms U Lady, Urbánkův Mlýn, Matulkův Mlýn, Trytlův Mlýn and Machův Mlýn are lined up, mostly consisting of former mills. Past Machova Hora, Šumavské Hoštice , Škarez 2. díl, Škarez 1. díl and Trpín, the stream flows in an uninhabited valley through the Cikánský les ( Gypsy forest ). Potok at the mouth of Šumavský where until after the Second World War nor the Cikánský mlýn ( Gypsy mill ) stand, the river takes on this section in Cikánský údolí ( Gypsy reason ) between the Skalní hora ( Skalna , 836 m), the Loučová (793 m ) and the Černý les ( Black Forest , 906 m) southeast direction. Its lower course leads past Dobišův Mlýn, Hamr, U Bartlů, Řepešín and Saladín to the east. After 11.1 kilometers, the Cikánský potok joins the Blanice north of Záblatí and northeast of Saladín .
With the exception of the estuary, the entire course of the Cikánský potok lies in the Šumava Biosphere Reserve . The nature reserve "Čertova stráň" extends in the side valley of Boubínský potok near Dobišův Mlýn. Shortly before its mouth, on the right side of the Cikánský potok, there is the Saladínská olšina nature reserve .
history
Gold soaps used to be used in the lower valley of the Aubache. Raithalden remains of this. At the end of the 16th century gold mining was also carried out in the Aubach Valley on the Alb hill .
The village settlement took place on the heights above the valley. The water power of the stream was used to operate several mills.
