City-Killer - A City in Panic (originally City Killer ) is an American thriller from 1984. The main roles are played by Heather Locklear , who is known from the series The Denver Clan , and Gerald McRaney , Known to many as Rick from the Simon & Simon detective series .

Leo Kalb is a stalker . In order to prove his love for his adored ex-girlfriend Andrea McKnight, the bomb expert blows up a high-rise building opposite her apartment, along with its residents. Kalb demands two million dollars and a plane to take him and Andrea to Costa Rica . Otherwise, he will blow up other buildings in the city . After his demands are not met, further explosions actually take place, which terrify the city.
Andrea is now under police protection. The police psychologist Lieutenant "Eck" Eckford takes care of them and tries to arrest Kalb. Andrea falls in love with the smart cop. In the event of a fake money handover, there is finally a showdown on the roof of another high-rise building that has been prepared with explosives.
