The Counts Clairon d'Haussonville , in France also de Cléron, Comte d'Haussonville , are an old Burgundian , later also well-known Lorraine aristocratic family , who spread to Silesia at the beginning of the 18th century and also gained some reputation in the Prussian service.

history

The lineage of the Burgundian nobility family with the name-giving headquarters in Cléron begins in 1260 with the documentary naming of the knight Jacques de Scey dit de Cléron († 1267). When Othenin de Cléron married Marie de Savigny on November 18, 1487 , the rule of Saffres, now in the canton of Vitteaux , passed to the family. Also through the marriage on February 4, 1620 of Claude de Cléron-Moisy , Baron de Saffres with Gabrielle d'Averhoult , the eponymous Barony Haussonville in the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle came to the sex. Jean Ignace de Cléron , grandson of the latter connection, was the first of the family to appear as Comte d'Haussonville. His younger son, Albert de Cléron, comte de Marcossey (* 1703; † after 1770) moved to Silesia and married Freiin Friederike von Kottwitz (* 1713; † after 1770). Descendants called themselves Clairon d'Haussonville . On April 7th, 1740 the brothers Karl Bernhard and Johann Albrecht Bernhard , Count Clairon d'Haussonville received the Bohemian incolate in the gentry . In 1789 the Prussian recognition of the count's status took place.

Historical property

The Counts Clairon d'Haussonville owned the rulership of Ober Gläsersdorf with Böckey in Silesia in the Lüben district from 1770 to 1830 . Later real estate is said to have existed in West Prussia as well .
