Claus-Peter Kedenburg

Claus-Peter Kedenburg (born October 13, 1935 in Leipzig ; † December 26, 2016 ) was a German veterinarian , pharmacist and member of the Hamburg Parliament for the CDU .

Life

After graduating from high school for boys in Hamburg-Blankenese , he studied pharmacy in Hamburg and Würzburg and passed his state examination in 1961. In 1964 he received his appointment as a pharmacist . After studying veterinary medicine, he was appointed veterinarian in 1965. He received his doctorate as Dr. med. vet. at the Physiological-Chemical Institute of the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Munich . This was followed in 1982 by his habilitation in biochemistry at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Free University of Berlin in the subjects of biochemistry and nutritional physiology. In 1976 he resigned from the civil service and settled as a self-employed pharmacist in Hamburg. He became the parish council of Hamburg-Nienstedten . Claus-Peter Kedenburg was married and had three children.

politics

In June 1982 Kedenburg moved into the Hamburg parliament as a member of the CDU. He served there for three terms until 1991. Its political work was mainly directed at the Health Committee, the Environment Committee and the Committee on Food and Agriculture .
