Clemens Maria Graf von Toerring-Minucci , from 1866 Graf zu Toerring-Jettenbach (born October 23, 1826 in Odelzhausen ; † November 12, 1891 in Munich ) was royal Bavarian treasurer and hereditary imperial councilor of the Crown of Bavaria .

family

He came from the old Bavarian noble family Toerring with ancestral seat Törring (today part of Tittmoning ), whose family line begins with Udalschalk von Toerring (mentioned in a document from 1135–1160), and was the son of the royal Bavarian chamberlain Anton Graf von Toerring-Seefeld (* 24. August 1798; † December 13, 1846) and Franziska Countess Minucci (* December 14, 1804; † October 5, 1850). Father Anton had already received the Bavarian approval on April 10, 1824 to combine names and coats of arms with that of Count Minucci, since his fiancée Franziska, whom he married on May 9, 1824, was the last of her sex and was known as “Count of Toerring-Minucci ”was enrolled in the Count's class in the Kingdom of Bavaria on April 12, 1824 .

As heir to Maximilian Graf von Toerring-Jettenbach zu Gutenzell , Imperial Councilor of the Crown of Bavaria and registrar in Württemberg , Clemens Graf von Toerring received the Bavarian approval on August 4, 1866 to accept the name "Graf zu Toerring-Jettenbach". October 1888 as legal successor of the noble house Toerring-Gutenzell the Württemberg recognition of the high nobility with the permission to use the title " illustrious ". The Bavarian recognition took place on October 27, 1888. His descendants carry the name "Graf / Gräfin zu Toerring-Jettenbach". The only son from his marriage with Countess Franziska von Paumgarten (born September 29, 1834, † December 7, 1894) was Hans Veit zu Toerring-Jettenbach .

Life

Toerring was one of five officials who the incapacitated Bavarian King on 9 June 1886 Ludwig II. In Neuschwanstein Castle picked up and Schlossberg took into custody. Von Toerring acted as legation councilor, curator and was intended as the king's future gentleman.
