Jake and Evan are about to graduate from college. The two students prefer to stay in college to have parties, have fun with the ladies or get drunk instead of starting university applications. Jake and Evan never miss an opportunity to see the bare facts, be it at a private party or in the nightclub. In the end, they'll pass their exams and leave college.

College Animals 3 was made by Alpha Theta Chi Films and TAV Productions. The film distribution in the USA was taken over by Virgil Films & Entertainment and Sunfilm Entertainment for German distribution, as in the previous parts. The film was shot in Grand Rapids , Michigan .

The comedy film was released in the United States on September 18, 2008 and College Animals 3 was released in Germany on April 9, 2009. In addition to the main film, the DVD includes interviews, cut scenes, trailers and audio commentary.

“American Pie” need not be afraid, with “College Animals 3” at most a bad plagiarism has come onto the market that does not compete with it. Many ideas and characters were taken from the original and poorly re-portrayed, the plot is lame and sluggish, the film is making slow progress.
