National Lampoon's Dorm Daze 2 ( National Lampoon's Dorm Daze 2 ) is an American comedy film from the year 2006 by brothers David and Scott Hillenbrand and the continuation of College Animals .

Billingsley University students Marla, Lynne, Gerri and Newmar enroll in the College @ Sea program, which involves performing a play on a cruise ship. This semester the students want to satisfy their needs with fun and sex. Newmar pursues the plan to have sex with his new girlfriend Violet, but is repeatedly disturbed by the professor and other students. Violet joins the abstinent student group, which includes Lynne and Marla, whereupon Newmar tries to land with other students. Professor Rex Cavendish finds a diamond on the cruise ship and is then murdered. At first, the students do not notice the professor's death because they think he is drunk and therefore photograph him in various poses. A monkey that Wang and his friends bought in the country to make drugs from his bones steals everything he sees and is in possession of the diamond. The students and the killer are looking for the monkey with the diamond, whereupon chaos begins on the ship.

College Animals 2 was made by Hill & Brand Productions, National Lampoon Productions, and Open Sky Entertainment. The film distribution was taken over by Lions Gate Entertainment and in Germany Sunfilm Entertainment.
The shooting started on 16 May 2005 and ended on 27 June 2005. In this the recordings in California , in the cities of San Diego and Santa Clarita added. The ship photos were taken on the old passenger ship of the RMS Queen Mary , which is now known as The Queen Mary Hotel in Long Beach harbor .
The direct-to-DVD production contains the main film, deleted scenes, a behind the scenes with Vida Guerra and the original trailer.

College Animals 2 premiered on DVD in the United States on September 5, 2006. On June 29, 2007, the film comedy was released on DVD and Blu-ray in Germany . The comedy film, entitled College Animals 2, aired on Tele 5 on October 20, 2007 .
On November 6, 2011, a collective edition of the films College Animals 1–3 was released .

Sequels
In 2008, a sequel was published under the name College Animals 3 (original title: Fraternity House ), which was also released on April 9, 2010 as direct-to-DVD in Germany. This time Antonijs Prizevoits directed, for which Joel Paul Reisig and Scott Voshel wrote the script. In 2009, College Animals 4 (original title: Frat Party ) was released in the United States and is due to appear in Germany from July 2013.
The 2009 film College Vampires ( Transylmania ) is also a sequel to College Animals 2. The directors were again David and Scott Hillenbrand. In contrast to the second part, the film received a theatrical release.
