The Colmont is a river in France that runs predominantly in the Pays de la Loire region . It rises in the municipal area of Fougerolles-du-Plessis , generally drains in a south-easterly direction and flows 50 kilometers below La Haie-Traversaine , in the backwater of the Barrage de Saint-Frimbault-de-Prières , as a right tributary into the Mayenne . On its way, the Colmont crosses the Mayenne department and over longer stretches forms the border with the neighboring departments of Manche and Orne in the Normandy region .
