In the 2018 Commonwealth Games , Namibia took part in seven sports with 28 athletes, including 9 women and 19 men. The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the athlete Ananias Shikongo .

Jonas Junias won gold for Namibia in the light welterweight division and Helalia Johannes in the women's marathon .
