The Communauté de communes Océan Marais de Monts is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . It was founded on December 24, 1992 and comprises five parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Saint-Jean-de-Monts .

Historical development

The community association has its origins in a SIVOM founded in 1974 . This was transformed into today's Communauté de communes by decree on December 24, 1992.

tasks

The tasks of the community association include the administration of a business park, nature conservation, waste disposal and the maintenance of tourist facilities.
