The Challans Gois Communauté is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . It was founded on December 9, 2016 and comprises eleven parishes. The administrative headquarters are located in Challans .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

• Communauté de communes du Pays du Gois and the
• Communauté de communes du Pays de Challans

and the commune of Saint-Christophe-du-Ligneron , which moved from the dissolved Communauté de communes du Pays de Palluau to the local association.
