The Communauté de communes de Vie et Boulogne is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . It was founded on December 21, 2016 and comprises 15 parishes. The administrative headquarters are located in Le Poiré-sur-Vie .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

• Communauté de communes de Vie et Boulogne (before 2017) and the
• Communauté de communes du Pays de Paluau (excluding the commune of Saint-Christophe-du-Ligneron , which joined the Challans-Gois Communauté ).
