The Communauté de communes de Haute Combraille is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It was founded on November 2, 1999 and comprised 17 parishes. The administrative seat was in the place Pontaumur . The community association was named after the Combraille landscape .

Historical development

After the community association was founded on November 2, 1999, it was joined on January 1, 2010 by the Cisternes-la-Forêt community.

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged

and thus formed the successor organization Communauté de communes Chavanon Combrailles et Volcans .
