The Communauté de communes de la Mortagne was a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region . It was founded on November 27, 2003 and comprised 17 parishes. The administrative seat was in Gerbéviller .
On January 1, 2017, the community association was split up:
- the communities Fraimbois , Franconville , Haudonville , Lamath , Magnières , Moyen , Vallois , Vathiménil and Xermaménil came to the newly founded Communauté de communes du Territoire de Lunéville à Baccarat
- the communities Essey-la-Côte , Gerbéviller , Giriviller , Mattexey , Moriviller , Remenoville , Seranville and Vennezey came to the newly founded Communauté de communes Meurthe, Mortagne, Moselle .
