The Communauté de communes du Pays d'Agout is a former community association ( Communauté de communes ) in the southern French department of Tarn in the Midi-Pyrénées region . It is named after the river Agout . In 2013, the community association merged with the Communauté de communes du Lautrecois to form the new Communauté de communes du Lautrécois-Pays d'Agout .

Member municipalities

This means that nine of the ten municipalities in the canton of Saint-Paul-Cap-de-Joux and six of the seven municipalities in the canton of Vielmur-sur-Agout belong to the association.

history

In 1992 the municipalities formed a SIVOM , which on January 1, 1997 was transformed into today's Communauté de communes.
