The Communauté de communes du Val des Usses is a former French association of communes with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Haute-Savoie department , whose administrative headquarters were in the town of Frangy . The territory of its eight member municipalities comprised a section of the Usses valley (left tributary of the Rhone ) and the southern end of the Montagne de Vuache in southern Genevois . The community association founded at the end of 2003 has 6,433 inhabitants (as of 2013) on an area of ​​70.6 km 2 , its president was last Bruno Penasa.

The compulsory competencies included the development and promotion of economic activities and tourism as well as spatial planning on the basis of a Schéma de Cohérence Territoriale , which was developed together with the CC de la Semine and CC du Pays de Seyssel . Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged with the Communauté de communes du Pays de Seyssel and the Communauté de communes de la Semine and thus formed the successor organization Communauté de communes Usses et Rhône .
