Comunità Montana Valli Po, Bronda e Infernotto
The Comunità Montana Valli Po, Bronda e Infernotto ¹) is a mountain community founded in 2006 (association of several municipalities) in the Valle Po , the upper reaches of the Po in the Piedmont region .
¹) In Italian, the name is usually written without a comma.
Such amalgamations have been possible for Italian municipalities since 1972. They are intended to enhance the value of mountain regions , to stop emigration and for common communal functions (e.g. energy, water supply, garbage disposal).
The following municipalities belong to the mountain commune Valli Po Bronda e Infernotto :
- in the actual Valle Po: Crissolo , Gambasca , Martiniana Po , Oncino , Ostana , Paesana , Revello , Rifreddo and Sanfront ;
- in the northern side valleys: Barge (Piedmont) and Envie ;
- on the edge of the Po Valley: Bagnolo Piemonte , Brondello , Castellar (Piedmont) and Pagno .
The Comunità Montana is based in Paesana.
