Revello is a municipality with 4253 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian province of Cuneo (CN), Piedmont region , about 50 km southwest of Turin .

geography

The town is located on a hillside at the end of the Valle Po , where the mountain valley in the Po Valley opens. The Po, which rises in the Cottian Alps, flows past 2 km south of the village and shows the first meanders at the valley exit .

The so-called Via Valle Po ( SS 622 ) begins in Revello and leads to the western mountains or via Saluzzo to Turin.

The place lies at an altitude of approx. 350  m slm. The municipality covers an area of ​​57.31 km² . The districts of Revello are San Pietro, Campagnole, Tetti Pertusio, Morra San Martino, Paschero, San Firmino and Staffarda.

The neighboring communities are Barge , Brondello , Cardè , Castellar , Envie , Gambasca , Martiniana Po , Pagno , Rifreddo and, downstream, the town of Saluzzo .
