Gorzegno ( Piedmontese Gorzègn ) is a municipality with 264 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian province of Cuneo (CN), Piedmont region .

geography

The municipality covers an area of ​​13.8 km² . The village is located on the Bormida river in the Langhe hills at an altitude of 319 m. The municipality extends from the lowest point of 295 m up to 867 m. Gorzegno is 74 km west of the provincial capital Cuneo . The neighboring municipalities are Feisoglio , Levice , Mombarcaro , Niella Belbo and Prunetto .

There is an old castle ruin near Gorzegno.

Viticulture
