Fossano ( Piedmontese Fossan , Latin Fossanum ) is a municipality with 24,477 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian province of Cuneo (CN), Piedmont region .
The neighboring communities are Bene Vagienna , Centallo , Cervere , Genola , Montanera , Salmour , Sant'Albano Stura , Savigliano , Trinità and Villafalletto . The patron saint of the place is Juvenalis von Benevento , after which the cathedral San Giovenale is named.
