The Coop Norrbotten Arena is a multi-purpose hall in the Swedish Lulea , Norrbotten County in the north. The facility is owned by the Luleå HF ice hockey club from the country's top division, the Svenska Hockeyligan . The building is mainly used as an ice rink , but other events also take place. The arena has a total of four ice rinks. Connected to the main arena there are three smaller halls for e.g. B. Training, the youth teams or ice skating. The name of the arena is the cooperative cooperativa Förbundet based in Stockholm .
history
The Coop Norrbotten Arena is mainly used for ice hockey games and concerts. The Luleå HF from Svenska Hockeyligan has played its home games in the stadium since it opened in 2002.
In 2010 the Coop Arena was renamed the Coop Norrbotten Arena , but the short name is still used.
