Corina Caduff

Corina Caduff (* 1965 in Chur ) is a Swiss cultural scientist , literary critic and author.

Life

She completed her German studies at the University of Zurich in 1991 with a doctorate on Elfriede Jelinek . She obtained her habilitation in 2001 at the Technical University of Berlin , where she worked as a private lecturer from 2002 to 2008 . From 2004 to 2017 she was a professor at the Zurich University of the Arts . She is currently Vice Rector Research at the Bern University of Applied Sciences and a literary and cultural scientist at the Bern University of the Arts . In addition, she is active in scientific and cultural funding institutions.

Her work focuses on artistic research, contemporary literature, the relationship between the arts and dying and death. She publishes in the academic and essay fields.

From 2005 to 2009 she worked as a critic at the Swiss Television Literature Club . She was a member of the jury for the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize 2012 and the Swiss Book Prize 2014 and 2015 and is a member of the German-Swiss PEN Center .
