Cornelia Rundt
Cornelia Rundt (born April 16, 1953 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany and was Lower Saxony's Minister for Social Affairs, Women, Family, Health and Migration in Stephan's cabinet from February 19, 2013 to November 22, 2017 Because .
Life
After graduating from high school in 1972, Rundt studied economics at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster and graduated in 1979 with a degree in business administration . Since 1997 she has been a full-time director of the Lower Saxony Parity Welfare Association . Before that, Rundt worked as a management consultant and appraiser .
In the government cabinet of Stephan Weil in Lower Saxony , she became Minister of Social Affairs of Lower Saxony and successor in the office of Aygül Özkan . On November 22, 2017, she was replaced by Carola Reimann . Rundt is a specialist in social policy : especially when it comes to care. She was on the board of the Lower Saxony Hospital Society and until 2007 a member of the supervisory board of the Heidekreis-Klinikum . She is married and has three children.
