Cornelius Hell
Cornelius Hell (born April 18, 1956 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian literary critic , translator and essayist .
Life
After studying German and theology, Cornelius Hell was lecturer for German language and Austrian literature at Vilnius University from 1984 to 1986 . Afterwards he was a publisher's editor and head of the reading lamp literary forum in Salzburg. From 1992 to 2005 he was a lecturer at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg; further teaching at the universities of Vienna, Salzburg and Klagenfurt. From 2002 to 2008 Hell was the feature editor of the Austrian weekly newspaper Die Furche . Hell is now the author of more than 200 programs for ORF and Bayerischer Rundfunk, a juror for the ORF best list and a regular contributor to the journal Literatur und Critique ;
