Corneuil is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Chambois with 611 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Eure in the region of Normandy .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the former municipalities of Avrilly , Thomer-la-Sôgne and Corneuil were merged into a commune nouvelle with the name Chambois . The municipality of Corneuil belonged to the arrondissement Évreux , the canton Verneuil-sur-Avre (until 2015: canton Damville ) and the municipal association Normandie Sud Eure .

Corneuil is about 14 kilometers south of the city center of Évreux .
