Cré-sur-Loir (formerly alone cré ) is a commune Déléguée in the French community Bazouges Cré sur Loir with 799 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Sarthe department in the region of Pays de la Loire . Cré-sur-Loir is a district of the municipality of Bazouges Cré sur Loir. The inhabitants are called créaciers .
On January 1, 2017, the municipality of Cré-sur-Loir merged with Bazouges-sur-le-Loir to form the Commune nouvelle Bazouges Cré sur Loir. It was part of the arrondissement of La Flèche and the canton of La Flèche
geography
Cré-sur-Loir is located about 45 kilometers south-southwest of Le Mans . The Loir bounded the community in the north. The municipality of Cré-sur-Loir was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Bazouges-sur-le-Loir in the north and west, La Flèche in the east and northeast and Baugé-en-Anjou in the south.
