Craig Hayes
Craig Hayes (* 20th century ) is an American VFX supervisor and art director .
Craig Hayes has worked in the special effects field in the US film industry since the mid-1980s . His first major assignment was as the creator of the ED-209 police robot for the film RoboCop . For the film Jurassic Park , he was involved in the development of Direct Input Device Technology (DID), which enables sensor-based models to transfer movements to digital levels. For this he was awarded an Oscar for technical merit in 1997 . As an employee of the Tippett Studio , he was involved in a number of other large productions. For Hollow Man , he was nominated for the 2001 Oscar for Best Visual Effects and received a Saturn Award . In 2004 he was nominated for a Saturn Award for the best special effects for Matrix Revolutions .
